The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our privacy policy, which is listed below this text.
II. Data Collection on This Website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the section "Note on the Responsible Entity" in this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected firstly when you provide it to us. This could be data that you enter into a contact form, for example. Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. This primarily includes technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of the page view). The collection of this data occurs automatically as soon as you enter this website.
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. Moreover, under certain circumstances, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For this and other questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time.
Analysis tools and third-party tools
When visiting our website, your surfing behavior can be statistically analyzed. This is primarily done with so-called analysis programs. Detailed information on these analysis programs can be found in the following privacy policy.
III. Hosting and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
External Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). The personal data collected on this website are stored on the hoster's servers. This may primarily involve IP addresses, contact requests, metadata and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses, and other data generated via a website. The use of the hoster is for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill their service obligations and to follow our instructions with respect to this data. We use the following hoster:
Framer B.V., Singel 258, 1016 AB Amsterdam, Netherlands (Privacy Policy: https://www.framer.com/legal/privacy-statement/) in the EU. We also use a content delivery network from the provider. The provider processes the personal data transmitted via the website, such as content, usage, meta-/communication data, or contact details. It is our legitimate interest to make a website available, so the legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. We have concluded a contract for Data Processing Addendum with Framer B.V., Singel 258, 1016 AB Amsterdam, Netherlands.
IV. General Information and Mandatory Information
Data Protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., communication by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the Responsible Entity
The responsible entity for data processing on this website is:
Atilla Taskiran
Nördlinger Str. 6
51103 Cologne
Email: hey@atillataskiran.com
Website: https://atillataskiran.com
The responsible entity is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
Duration of Storage
Unless a more specific storage period has been specified within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you make a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons to store your personal data (e.g., tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, deletion will occur after these reasons no longer apply.
Note on Data Transfer to the USA
On our website, we have integrated tools from companies based in the USA, among others. When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the USA is not considered a secure third country in terms of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to disclose personal data to security authorities without you, as the data subject, being able to take legal action against it. Therefore, it cannot be excluded that US authorities (e.g., intelligence services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
Transfers to Third Countries
If we process data in a third country (i.e., outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA)), or this occurs in the context of using third-party services or disclosure or transfer of data to third parties, this only takes place if it is to fulfill our (pre)contractual obligations, based on your consent, due to a legal obligation, or on the basis of our legitimate interests. Subject to legal or contractual permissions, we process or have the data processed in a third country only in the presence of the special conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR. That is, the processing takes place, for example, on the basis of special guarantees, such as the officially recognized determination of an EU-equivalent level of data protection (e.g., for the USA through the "Privacy Shield"*) or adherence to officially recognized specific contractual obligations (so-called "standard contractual clauses").
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If the data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection under Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling to the extent that it is associated with such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection under Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR).
Right of Appeal to the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The right of appeal exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract automatically delivered to yourself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the change of the address line of the browser from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, Deletion, and Correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of data processing, and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases: If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion. If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion. If you have lodged an objection according to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data - apart from being stored - may only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
Cookies and Right to Object to Direct Marketing
"Cookies" are small files that are stored on users' computers. A variety of information can be stored within the cookies. A cookie primarily serves to store the information about a user (or the device on which the cookie is saved) during or even after their visit within an online service. Temporary cookies, also known as "session cookies" or "transient cookies," are cookies that are deleted after a user leaves an online offer and closes their browser. Such a cookie can store, for example, the contents of a shopping cart in an online store or a login status. Cookies described as "permanent" or "persistent" remain stored even after the browser is closed. For instance, the login status can be saved when the users visit it after several days. Likewise, such a cookie can store the interests of the users, which are used for reach measurement or marketing purposes. "Third-party cookies" are cookies that are offered by providers other than the controller operating the online service (otherwise, if they are only that provider's cookies, they are referred to as "first-party cookies").
We may use temporary and permanent cookies and provide information about this in our privacy policy. If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer, they are asked to disable the corresponding option in their browser's system settings. Saved cookies can be deleted in the system settings of the browser. The exclusion of cookies can lead to functional limitations of this online service.
A general objection to the use of cookies used for purposes of online marketing can be made for a multitude of services, especially in the case of tracking, via the American site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Furthermore, the storage of cookies can be achieved by turning them off in the settings of the browser. Please note that in this case, not all functions of this online service may be usable.
Objection to Promotional Emails
The use of contact information published under the obligation to provide a legal notice for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
V. Data Collection on this Website
Cookies
Our websites use so-called "cookies." Cookies are small text files that do not cause any damage to your device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them or an automatic deletion is performed by your web browser. Sometimes cookies from third-party companies are stored on your device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g., cookies for processing payment services). Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or displaying videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.
Cookies that are required for the execution of the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions you desire (functional cookies, e.g., for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies for measuring the web audience) are stored on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the relevant cookies is based solely on this consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time. You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited. If cookies from third-party companies or for analysis purposes are used, we will inform you separately within this privacy policy and, if necessary, ask for consent.
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. A combination of this data with other data sources is not performed. The collection of this data is based on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website - for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Contact via Email, Phone, or Fax
If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of requests addressed to us (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR) if this has been requested. The data sent to us via contact requests remain with us until you ask us to delete, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage lapses (e.g., after completing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.
Hosting and Email Dispatch
The hosting services we use are designed to provide the following services: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space, and database services, email dispatch, security services, and technical maintenance services that we use for the purpose of operating this online offering. In this context, we, or our hosting provider, process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta, and communication data of customers, prospects, and visitors to this online offering based on our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure provision of this online offering according to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR in conjunction with Article 28 GDPR (conclusion of contract processing agreement)."
Collection of Access Data and Log Files
We, or our hosting provider, collect data on every access to the server (so-called server log files) based on our legitimate interests as defined in Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The access data include the name of the accessed webpage, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, report of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider. Log file information is stored for a maximum of 7 days for security reasons (e.g., to investigate abuse or fraud) and then deleted. Data that need to be retained for evidence purposes are excluded from deletion until the final clarification of the respective incident.
Google Analytics
Based on our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offer as defined in Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active). Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on activities within this online offer, and to provide other services related to the use of this online offer and the internet to us. From the processed data, pseudonymous usage profiles of the users can be created. We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the users is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; furthermore, users can prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. Alternatively to the browser plugin or within browsers on mobile devices, please click this link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website in the future (the opt-out only works in this browser and only for this domain). An opt-out cookie will be stored on your device. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you will need to click this link again. For more information about Google's data use, setting and opt-out options, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated). The personal data of the users are deleted or anonymized after 14 months.
Online Presence in Social Media
We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms to communicate with active customers, prospects, and users there and inform them about our services. When calling up the respective networks and platforms, the terms and conditions and the data processing guidelines of their respective operators apply. Unless otherwise stated in our privacy policy, we process users' data as long as they communicate with us within social networks and platforms, e.g., write posts on our online presences or send us messages.
Incorporation of Third-Party Services and Content
We integrate content or services offered by third-party providers within our online service based on our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online service as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) to incorporate their contents and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter collectively referred to as "contents").
This always presupposes that the third-party providers of these contents perceive the IP address of the users, as they could not send the content to their browsers without the IP address. Thus, the IP address is necessary for the presentation of these contents. We strive to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the contents. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as "Web Beacons") for statistical or marketing purposes. Through the "Pixel-Tags," information such as the visitor traffic on the pages of this website can be evaluated. The pseudonymous information may also be stored in cookies on the user's device and may include, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, visiting time, and other information on the use of our online service, as well as being connected with such information from other sources.
Google Fonts
We integrate the fonts ("Google Fonts") of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. Opt-Out: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.
Vimeo Video
This website uses plugins provided by the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
When you visit one of our pages featuring a Vimeo video, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. Here, the Vimeo server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. In addition, Vimeo will receive your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged into Vimeo or do not have a Vimeo account. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to the Vimeo server in the USA.
If you are logged into your Vimeo account, you enable Vimeo to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.
The use of Vimeo is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO.
For more information on how user data is handled, please review the Vimeo Data Privacy Policy at https://vimeo.com/privacy.
VI. Use of Google Services

We utilize Google services such as Google Forms and Google Sheets to provide our online services. Your data may be stored on Google's servers, which could be located outside of the EU. We have entered into legally binding agreements with Google that include EU standard contractual clauses to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data, regardless of where it is processed.
Data Processing by Google Services
In the context of our services, we employ various services from Google Ireland Limited, including Google Forms and Google Sheets for online forms and data analysis. Data collected may be stored on servers of Google which may be located outside the European Union. We have established legally binding agreements with Google, incorporating the EU standard data protection clauses, to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data, independent of the storage location.
